The league will go from race 1 up until race 30 for the regular season. The leagues playoff will be the top 8 players in a setup similar to what nascar uses. The final 6 races will be what determines the champion after resetting of points takes effect. The top 8 players will have their points reset at the start of the 6 race dash for the championship. As in Nascar, there will be 10 bonus points given for each regular season victory when the chase points are first reset. The 6 race playoff will have one elimination. With the top 2 regular season drivers receiving a bye, the remaining 6 will be fighting for 4 spots which will make a 6 driver playoff over the last 4 races for the Sprint Cup Championship. The two eliminated will be dropped into the already active Nationwide playoffs which will end up consisting of 6 drivers as well. Those will be the two eliminated drivers from the Sprint Cup playoffs plus #'s 9-12 in the final standings. And in the Arca division, those ranked #'s 13-18 in the final regular season standings, those 6 drivers will also be in a playoff. In the event of a lineup not being submitted, that players points for the week will be the weeks worst picked lineup, minus 10 points. Each week the drivers ranked #'s 16-18 will pick an extra driver from the 3rd bracket of qualifying to be used as a replacement in a best ball setting for any of their regular 3 drivers selected for the week. While these extra points won't be used  for determining the weekly winner, they will be added to the drivers overall season points. *Tiebreakers for the playoffs will be each teams highest point finisher, if the same will go to second, if thats the same then third. Tiebreaking system for playoff seeding will be in order, most week wins, most top 5 week finishes, most top 10 finishes, high week, highest low week, 2nd highest week, 2nd lowest week and so on. When picking the lineups for the playoffs, it will be the highest seeded player who will pick first, then the 2nd and so on.

***The All Star Race:

The breakdown of the event itself goes as follows: The previous All-Star winners, Spint Cup Champions or any driver with a victory during the current season will be qualified for the main event. Those not qualified will be in the Open (Showdown) with the winner earning a spot in the All-Star race.

(The All-Star race will consist of the drivers who have won up to this point in the year, last years all-star champion, and last years Sprint Cup Champion. They will each pick one driver, in reverse order of the standings. Once a driver is picked, he is off the board. The Open will consist of those who haven't won this year. They will each pick one driver, they will pick in reverse order of points, and again, once a driver is picked he is off the board. The highest placed finisher will then be added to the All-Star race, a second can be added if two drivers picked are the actual two drivers are advancing into the real all-star race. A spot will also be included if you have the vote in winner into the real all-star race. If the winner of the fantasy open has a driver that didn't make the actual all-star race, they will be given the actual winner of the Open. The points will be given from 2 points to the last place finisher in the open, and then increased by 4 points for each position. Those that didn't make the open will be placed in their finishing order, and from there the last place person in the all-star race will be next in line and then the rest placed in their drivers finishing order compared to the rest of the picked drivers.)

There will be some late changes to this years version of fantasy racing to accomidate all 18 drivers. With a larger field, and more of a chance of some of our fellow competitors falling far behind early into the season, I had to devise a plan that would keep it entertaining for all involved. And I believe I have now done that. Now as far as the big boy playoffs are concerned, that remains mostly untouched. Including the 10 point bonus for each regular season win. There will be 8 drivers making the final 6 race dash to the championship, and yes there will be 2 drivers eliminated after the first 2 races. After that though, there will be no more elimination. Those 6 remaining drivers will be racing the final 4 races for the title. And for this year the top 5 drivers at the end of the regular season will receive a bye into the finals.

Now onto the seperation of the lower bracket of drivers (#s 13-18). I have seperated drivers into this lower bracket to keep everyone into the racing all year long. For each week, the people in 16th, 17th and 18th will be using a best ball rule. You will give your regular lineup, which can give you a shot at a win, but you will also give me an extra driver from the 3rd bracket to be used if he did better than any of the 3 starters. (5 point bonus if no extra driver is used, 3 & 1 to the other bottom 3 drivers) Those extra points won't count towards the week winner, just your overall points. The bottom 6 will be in a playoff of their own for the Arca title. And seeing as the bottom 6 will be racing for the Arca crown and the remaining top 6 will be going for the Sprint cup, I am taking the middle 4 guys plus the 2 eliminated from the Sprint Cup, for a Nationwide playoff. It should make things very interesting come the end of the year when people are fighting to get into the 8 driver playoff for the major championship on the year, but for those towards the bottom who are trying to fight their way out of the low series and into what would be the AAA title or those that might want to slide their way into the lower one. Hoping for an exciting playoffs in 2010, unlike the uneventful 2009 season
